Day 17 - Copacabana, Cristo Redentor & Pão de Açúcar
Hey guys,
Today was maybe one of the most exciting days of the whole trip. We woke up pretty early to visit three of the most beautiful and famous places in Brazil. In the morning we went to the Copacabana Beach, which was incredible, because it is a really big beach with lots of activities to do like playing soccer or American Football on dedicated spaces. The water was way colder than we were used to in the Northeast and David (The Man) lost his glasses again. After that we visited one of the seven new wonders of the world, the Christ Statue. It was absolutely mindblowing and we took some photos and made some "saltos". After this we went directly to Pão da Açúcar, which presented us with the best possible view over Rio de Janeiro. From up here the beauty of this famed city was stunning and the prices were also very expensive. After 1 hour of freetime there and the nice sights we went to have dinner in a nice restaurant with free sushi. We ended our second last night with a Secret Santa round where everyone bought funny and creative presents for each other, so it was a really exhausting but really fun day, and for me the most marvelous station of the trip so far. We are all of course really exhausted now at the end of the trip and have to get up in 4 hours from now, but who needs sleep if you can have so much fun and so many awesome experiences. Best wishes and hopefully more sleep.
Marc and Peter.

Dia 17 - Copacabana, Cristo Redentor & Pão de Açúcar
Oi gente,
Marc e Pete.
